Secondary and Higher Education Department is working as a government policy making body for all types of education except for the next tech and madrasa education. This department accepts higher education related policies and other activities from secondary level. In addition, the law makes rules and regulations in the administration and management of education. The agencies under this department monitor the management activities of all the schools, colleges and universities of the next recognized primary level.

Upazila Secondary Education Office located on the west side of Nichtola Upazila Fisheries Office and Upazila Engineer's office on the east side of Upazila Parishad Bhaba
